How about some tantalizing hints. I'll bet if you tell me the following info, I can figure out where you're at: 1. Which 2 linguistics sub-fields is your program best known for? 2. Which school did a large number of your professors do their PhD at (typically most ling departments have a bias like this)? 3. Which weather pattern is your city best known for: rain, snow, wind, sun? 4. Name 2 journals your professors published in in 2009.
