		<description>(Other) will, nicely done.  Being a caught-cot merger, I didn&#039;t even think that there were people who pronounced the two differently in terms of the vowels.  If you pronounce cot and caught differently, you&#039;ll likely pronounce cock and caulk differently as well.

However, I have stumbled across people who will pronounce the L and say /cawlk/, no matter the middle vowel.  

Very nice catch, and a little highlighting of my own personal language biases.  I&#039;m glad I&#039;ve got my readers keeping me on my toes :)</description>
