		<description>(Other) will, nicely done.  Being a caught-cot merger, I didn't even think that there were people who pronounced the two differently in terms of the vowels.  If you pronounce cot and caught differently, you'll likely pronounce cock and caulk differently as well.

However, I have stumbled across people who will pronounce the L and say /cawlk/, no matter the middle vowel.  

Very nice catch, and a little highlighting of my own personal language biases.  I'm glad I've got my readers keeping me on my toes :)</description>
